The first sun of 2016 sets behind Sander's Mound at Clinton Lake in Lawrence, KS.
In this photo, I was experimenting with a 10 stop Neutral Density filter (ND), which blocks a large amount of light from hitting the lens. This allows me to expend the time the shutter is open, therefore giving the water an other-worldly look.
